Everyone, this is Ryan, an absolutely incredible lensman whom I was lucky enough to meet recently and go on a GTG with. That grin on his face is permanent!
Yes, I know the crop sucks, but it was either crop it this close or have to clone out a good 25% of the b/g to get rid of power lines.
pp: RAW to TIFF, crop, curves, shadow/highlight, brightness, clone out power lines, resize, unsharp mask, sharpen edges, save for web |

He hasn't responded to my PM. Did I succeed in scaring him off? |

I actually kinda like the crop and really quite like the angle. He has a great smile! He looks like he's a very fun and nice guy to hang with, too. |

Hello from the Critique Club
PROS: Technically sound portrait, doesn't feel like a candid, or much of a setup, almost like a snapshot but also directed somewhat. And I actually think its cropped pretty good. I don't see any wasted area in the frame, and the exposure is good, a bit conservative maybe, could improve on contrast.
CONS: Overblown in areas. I think you had a window to work the shutter up a few stops for a better colorful contrast. Whites are dominating here. Some grays would help.
VERDICT
Average at best, Id say slightly under-rated, but nothing smiting. PM me if you have questions or answers about this critique.
