 Cold hotel room + hot, humid seaside = condensation out the wahoo. First, the polarizer and the lcd. that cleared up, then the lens and the viewfinder. finally i thought it had all cleared up when apparently, the mirror condensed over. lovely soft focus, pinhole feel to a bunch of shots.

This one was slightly foggy, but a huge contrast boost and a bunch of other stuff made it at least viewable. I don't expect to score over 5, and if it hadn't been advanced editing, I wouldn't have scored over 4. :)

I didn't vote in this challenge, but I also can't believe that it scored so low. Nice one. Oh and 'grats on the Golden Bear award.

Geeze, I can't believe this image got so utterly hammered, holy smokes! I'm the one that gave you your lone 10, and I can't understand how this image failed to move at least a few more viewers. The sense of stark, surreal immediacy, the inarticulate *foreboding* of the image, are just remarkable. But evidently I'm way out of tune with the rest of the voters on this one, and you know, I don't care! I'm making you the second-ever winner of the Golden Bear award :-)

I forget that pigeons are around the beach as well as seagulls... Nice spatial theme!

While an intersting beach shot the pigeons are out of focus and underexposed with no detail. It's also pretty dark and the border doesn't help.
