Hi from the CC Club

A sad reminder of our freedom!

1st impression, I would not know that this was a memorial wall unless I actually knew it was. I am from England and live in America, but there are many people that would just see that as a wall and unaware of what it is.

So getting some of the lettering in it standing out would have helped the viewer with this one. Play around with position when taking a photo like this, a straight on with a slight tilt would have eliminated the people. So play around with your DOF.

I see that your ISO is at 400, try 100 so there is less grain in the shot

Sharpening and contrast is your friend also in basic, it will bring out more details that are hidden.

It is a good shot

"Hand-Over-My-Heart" THANKS for the sacrifice of your Loved Ones! Freedom must be always cherished, and I DO. :)

There is a small sense of life and death in this but the Washington Monument in the back caught my eye first. I do like the reflective aspect and for me there is just a tab bit too much light and not enough sharpness.

I think if you had shot lower and taken it as a portrait and made the names clear on the wall, this would have been an awesome shot! The Freemasons symbolic Washington Monument could've been larger in this shot if you also had photographed closer to the monument.

Great photograph. I just think that perhaps you could of centered the wall more in the middle rather than so far to the right. It makes the picture look too crowded or crammed. But, great overall photo.

great photomontage, the use of the memorial to reflect the living and the living to reflect on the dead & their sacrifice...

Very good image. I wish the sky had a touch more highlights to bring out the subtle clouds.

An ok shot, but one which makes a strong point.

Great concept/composition... a little blown out otherwise.

Damn! This place brings me to tears every time I see it!.... Way to many of my friends names are on this monument! This is a perspective I've not seen before.

I really like the concept and the reflection but I think it would be better with more depth of field so that the names are sharp(er) as well.
