A bouquet that had gone bad. I had to dump it in the yard.

some curves to brighten her up. some hue/saturation to bring her down.

================

The green that nobody likes is the "life" in this picture. So I stick out my tongue in your general direction!

nyah!

CC Club here,

OKay I am going to go out on a limb here and guess what you where thinking when you took this shot.

IT was once alive, vibrant and full of life, then it died, but now it can make life again with the seeds from the flower heads. So in fact you have really gone for life, death and life again. Nice job!

You are tack sharp on the orange flower and its leaf, which drifts off into a smooth blur. I think the green background is not working in this shot as it is very vibrant, maybe toning it down a little?

The composition is tilted, which I actually like, I like that it inst straight on, that would make for a boring shot.

I think and believe, this is exactly what you wanted to shoot and processed.

I see lots of death but no life.

I like the composition of this shot. I would have liked the shot more overall if the background was something other than green.

I love that you didn't feel the need to sidle this up to a fresh living flower (like everyone else did). The composition is great.
