 for the august snapshots side challenge

these are my brother's cows who are in our paddock coz he doesnt have enough feed for them .. he lives next door .. they are due to give birth in the next week or so .. its their first time so i'm biting my nails hoping everything goes ok ..

they are at the fence all keen coz i was just giving them bread that was just past the use-by date for humans .. doesnt seem to bother them tho .. they also like apples ..

Best view I've ever had of a cows tongue. I like cows coz when I was growing up we used to stay on my grandfather's dairy farm for holidays. Nothing like warm frothy milk straight from the cow. Yum! My uncle who inherited the farm died last year and his wife died just a few weeks ago so I guess the farm will be sold now. How sad. Keep the cow shots coming!
