Well I'm flattered at being mistaken for Gordon, but I'm afriad you'll have to look about 100 places higher to find him. = )

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's you Gordon ;-) Well done! The sharpness and clarity in your eye is outstanding. I think the overexposure adds to the photo. Somehow it makes your face look like painted with golden colour. I would have cropped a bit more from the left and bottom area.-stephan

Nce shot, but the area of the eye is little bit over exposed.

Overall, nice pic. The glare at the buttom is not bad, but at the top is. Maybe next defuse your light with a filter to make it less harsh. I love the skin tone and of course the eye itself is wonderfully contrasted with the shadow on the right of it.

Sharp eye. Would love to see the entire face. Very interesting features surrounding the eye. Intriguing. Only complaint is the bright spot on the left side of the eye. Would liked to have a better look at the eye. Find myself wanting to zoom in on the eye more. Would love to see the natural color of the eye. Looks like it might be a green or hazel. Interesting lines in the eye. This picture leaves me wanting more. Don't know if that is good or bad as far as photography goes. Really haveing trouble scoring this one - mainly because of what it makes me want. Otherwise it is a really good shot. Is 8 fair? PTL

Good job for the most part...the glare on the face and outer edge of the eye is harsh, but maybe that's the look you were going for. 7 Grayce

challenge -- met
technical -- good clarity and focus on the eye. the hotspots to the left above and below are distracting though.
composition -- like the negative space.

nice composition, a little bit of a glare on the reflection of the light.

I love the detail on iris. Too bad the light source is too intense. Jacko

That person sure has long eyelashes! That light is too harsh. It makes the person's skin look shiny and it creates all kinds of yucky shadows
