 Fruit used:
Strawberries (flower heads and butterfly)
Grapes (leaves)
Blueberries (butterfly)
The stalks are uncooked spaghetti

I used an old fish tank on its side so that I had two panes of glass parallel to each other and 25 cm apart. Placed the fruit on the top pane and some pink tissue paper on the bottom pane. Used a flash to illuminate from below. Used f2.8 so the tissue paper was out of focus. The flash was directly under the butterfly so I had a halo in that region.

What about that butterfly? It looks kinda 'fruity' too! Just teasing. A nice idea you've got here. Only downfall I can see are the dark specks throughout the background.

I don't like the choice of lighting. I'm no means an expert, but I felt that the subject is too dark and the background too bright.
