 for the serendipity side challenge

this is sasha who is 18 years old ..
i was looking at bees drinking from the dam and taking photogaphs of them .. i glanced up and there was sasha looking at her reflection in the water .. she'd just been drinking which is why there are ripples ..
it struck me that there is poignant feeling to this image .. sasha is not going to be around for very much longer .. its like she's looking back on her life or possibly into the next ..
the serendipity is that i glanced up at all .. usually i'm pretty focused when i'm trying to photograph a bug .. :)

she left us in october 2010 ..
