Geez, can I wait for the monorail? This looks 2 miles long. |

Good composition and wonderful lighting. Slightly slanted, but overall a pleasing image. |

I love the softness of the colors for this particular shot. Creates a very serene look. Great challenge entry. |

Like your use of the vanishing point here. The strong graphic elements of this shot cry out for a black and white treatment to my eye - then it becomes more about the shapes and less about the tones (though the grey-blue of sea and the muted browns of boards are a pleasant combination). The strength of this, though, for me, lies in the way the scene is precisely sectioned by those elements. I think I would also have put some time in darkening sky and sea, which would give a stronger impact, as far as a challenge is concerned: whilst it repays looking, I don't think that many people spend that long when voting. 6 |

Splendid - and someone who does indeed know how to demonstrate a deep DoF. Nice composition and muted colors make this wwork very well.

Excellent shot! Fits perfectly into the challenge (the way I understand deep DOF). This will be a beautiful print |

serene, peaceful, lovely balanced composition, beautiful subtle colouring, (why isn't that horizon straigt?? that's the only thing..but that won't keep me from scoring a 10!!) |

Great composition and vanishing point. The only thing that distracted me was the horizon looks slightly skewed CCW and the color pallete seems to be lacking in blue/green saturation. |

Beautiful shot. The colors make this feel like a dreamy painting, and the composition being broken up into triangles of earthy, moody colors so neatly really is a master stroke of genius. Just positively gorgeous. 10 |
