| humm ... nice .. background would have been better in a different darker colour, and threads seem to be overexposed but i like the visual appeal. |

curious to see what it is that i'm actually looking at here. hope you added this to your comments.
challenge -- met
technical -- the photo is a little overpoweringly red/orange, even though i realize that's due to the subject you have chosen. reflection on the knot in the middle is a little distracting, but overall, you have managed reflections well, especially on the coins.
composition -- too busy. the middle knot and the coins fight for attention. also, while the foreground is busy with the tassles, the background is bare, i would like to see more tassles there, too.
