 I went saturated as I expect people to expect it....

7 exposure HDR using Photomatix
Topaz Adjust on duplicate layer
Hue/Sat, Curves, Levels, Selective Colors adjustment layers
Minor cloning in sky and water to remove dust spots and to smooth transitions of sunset colors.
Minor dodge/burn/sponge throughout image.
Skew adjustment to level horizon on dup layer.
Resize, Adamus Sharpening, Resize for web, add border.

Work monitor review of my image...ICK! Boy is this thing oversaturated....no wonder it is below 6.

Tough angle to the sun. I like the foreground rock and grasses. The frame is a negative.

Great landscape. I like the use of the grass in the foreground. Definitley HDR techniques, but not overdone.

rather like the composition not so keen on the reflection in the water.... I think its lost a bit of its wateriness...

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion
