Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...

Great capture, and given the right challenge, this would have fair a lot better, but this doesn't lend itself to HDR (IMO). Colours are a little flat, and while I rate it as one of the images features, the lens flare probably hurt your score in the end too. Oh... also could have cropped just a tab more off the bottom to lose the white bit in the bottom right.

My first reaction to this image was, "that's a lot of purple fringing". The middle glaring light is tough to view. The lens flare is not an attribute. However, considering the difficulty of the capture, I'd say this is a noteworthy effort. 7

I'm not sure where the HDR is in this, I can't imagine that it is multiple exposure cos I reckon those guys are moving around quite a lot. One of those 'false HDRs'?

The HDR techniques bring details out of the dark nicely, but it's not doing nice things with the lens flare.

This has a snapshot feel to it and really doesn't say HDR to me
