Thanks for the votes and comments! Figured a blue might be in order but edged out by Joe and a spectacular bridge.

With this picture, I have 3 of the four seasons represented in my portfolio for this spot. I've probably bored most of you but it is so convenient to stop at this spot and each time I have visited, the light has been different. This was the first time I have watched the last sliver of alpenglow slide from the Captain's face. I didn't figure it would do so great with it's rather pedestrian sky--so I attempted to make the water and foreground rocks stand out by wading into the river and composing the shot with them in mind.If you visit, watch out for the large crawdads in the river!

3 stop singhray filter + hard edge .9 ND. The vignetting comes from using a polarizer with the wide end of a 17-40!

Winter is on my profile page. This area is under water in the spring---I may need a snorkel!

Beautiful. Though the Autumn version has always been my favorite, I do really like this one as well. The bits of warm light reflecting off of the top of the peaks just makes this extra special. Splendid work.

This is a fantastic shot. The composition if fantastic, but I've seen it many times before. I'm not critisizing though, if I had the opportunity to go to Yosemite, I'd shoot this as well. I expect to see this on the front page. Ok I'm guessing here, mpeters? (no vote)
