People leave their bikes here when they go to work.
This was a shot that I took just messing around but it turned out better then I expected.

I didn't vote this challenge so I missed this - would have scored very well from me! For one thing, it has bikes. Pictures with bikes get good scores from me. For another, it's a very unique and well done approach to a deep DOF - not a landscape, and a very good use of the technique. AND it's in b&w, which works very well here to keep the focus on your shapes and structures. Nicely done!

Yep. Deep DOF. Good composition. I wish it was more intresting.

Was that Topazed before the B/W conversion? If so, I'd have to say I much prefer the look when it is in B/W.

Very nice black and white procesing! Based on feel alone, I think I would have liked just a tad more space left at the top. The closest wheel feels a tiny bit cramped. Nice entry!

Really nice shot with good DOF and lovely tones and detail.

My only real comment is on the composition and is that the line of bikes and paving lead my eye to the edge of picture where there is nothing of note. I don't seem to get much 'extra' from this shot having used a deep DOF as a shallow DOF with only the first couple of wheels in focus would still give the impression of the long line of bikes.

I like the choice of processing . The tires really jump out.

I like this a lot. Good DOF, but more than that a really attractive shot.
