 I always liked a shot I entered in a challenge about two years ago (see the thumbnail below, there is also an outtake from the same shoot) so I thought about making a series of shots like it. I did one more, with a triangle, and I didn´t particularly like it so I scrapped the whole project. When this challenge came along I thought it was a good opportunity to see if I could do something cool again in that theme and I like this shot.

The model is Valdís and the bodypaint/makeup is by Eva Hrönn. Lit with 3 lights and a silver reflector, two striplight softboxes behind her on both sides and one medium sized softbox over my head, the silver reflector was between us, pointed upwards.

Why... so... serious? The tones on her forehead and neck are a bit flat, and there are some underexposed areas around her nose. Other than that, I really really like it. The concept and the look in her eyes are both perfect. 8
