Tucked away in my garden, this beautiful spider's web only appeared when the sun started to set and caught the drops of rain that had caught on the web itself.
If you look closely you can see the spider's dinner just about to be munched!

Sorry - not a fan of blurry shots. To me, there is not enough in focus to catch your attention. The spider is the main object in the shot, and it is OOF. Only a very small part of the web looks to be in focus (probably the "silk" treasure), and then you have a large chartreuse blob in the upper left corner taking up about 1/3 of the shot. It does add color, but does not seem to serve an obvious purpose in your message.

I don't really see this meeting the challenge. Also, the narrow depth of field makes it really hard to get any meaningful part of the spider in focus. The only part of the spider that I see in focus is one of his legs. Perhaps if you could have gotten more of the body in focus, it would have grabbed my attention more. The background is a bit distracting as well. Perhaps a slightly different angle would have removed a bit of the yellow. 3

I think the title helps the voter here. However, to the spider, any caught bug is a treasure. The photo is however seriously OOF to score high for me.

sorry the cat was on the key board whilst I was viewing this image. I like this shot although it seems a little soft, the yellow flower is a distraction and takes the eye it might work better as a square composition, crop out most of the yellow.macro shots are hard work. if you like this type of photography a macro lens is a must a 100m is best. Taringa my ginger cat agrees with this assesment, He is aso seeking rehab for his catnip addiction and poor spelling

Great Depth of Field. The background is very simple going from green to grey which helps to highlight the complexity of the web. That works to create that wow effect! There doesn't seem to be anything in focus, whether by design or not, I don't know. I find that to be a shortfall in this picture. I would like to see the spider in focus.

Not liking the soft focus or the big green blotch in the background. Just a 4 from me. Sorry.
