Interesting focus. The colours are really nice. It just looks a bit soft in the focused area - maybe you could sharpen the image.

I don't really think this meets the challenge very well. (My opinion, of course) I'm also not sure I like the point of focus. I feel somewhat cheated that I don't get to see the flowers in all their glory. Also, I can't tell which of the first buds are perfectly in focus. I will say this really grabbed my interest. It does make me scan the entire photo, but it leaves me slightly unsatisfied. 5

I hesitate to comment. This shot is really personal to you. Perhaps the IF buds leading to the OOF flowers (treasure)?
