I couldn't think of a title that would work for this BUT - the hidden treasure is this boy. During the war, the children were out there fighting along side the men. And the younger ones were pushed to the back. I know this one stands out from the crowd, but in the whole scheme of things, the children who put their lives on the line were certainly the hidden treasures of the war.

I did not think he was using a cell phone. This was during a pause in the battle and it would not have made sense for him to use it at that moment. But who knows... :)

I gave this a 6 because it's a magnificent image. I didn't really make the connection to the theme, but I didn't care. The image is a treasure!

I don't think he's using a cell phone either. I think you nailed it with your title, though in real life, he's probably wondering if he's in the right place or doing the right thing according to the re-enactment. A great catch, and your processing suits it very well.

I like aged photo effect here. Very appropriate. It brings a "Little Drummer Boy" song by Bing Crosby & David Bowie. However the person playing dead in the lower left corner brings me back to Earth. The connection between challenge theme and the title and the boy is a bit loose. Good luck :) Bumping up

You certainly did a great job of making this look authentic. I don't think it matches the challenge very well, though. Also, it kind of looks like the kid is on his cellphone. I like the look on his face. I'm sure you had a lot of fun shooting this.

Nice enough photo, though a bit soft in the focus (perhaps deliberate). weak tie to the challenge imo. 5.
