 When I took this, I wasn't even thinking of the Window View challenge. After I played with it, it hit me- hey, this fits!

Crop
Midnight filter (darken, blur, diffuse, desaturate) in Color Efex
Erase back on vase about 30%
Fill layer (cyan)erasing lower half
Paintbrush using a cyan in overlay and darken mode on sky
Sharpen
Sharpen tool
Saturation tool on vase, yellow and blue areas
Add black frame top and bottom
Save for web

Love the soft light coming in from the window. The green and gold hues of the outside are also pleasing to the eye. The gold vase really captures my eye - interesting - I like how the shape of the window pulls in the upper left corner is about the same as the shape of the vase.

Didn't vote on this challenge, but WOW, this is lovely! The rich colors and wonderful combination of sharp glass and soft view and lines and shadows and light ... way to make the ordinary look anything but!

amazing .. i looked thru the challenge and loved this one particularly ... it made me think of you judy .. its so beautiful and atmospheric .. i considered writing a comment and saying so, but didnt want to appear foolish if it wasnt one of yours .. :)

I like the soft colors of this picture. I think the vase (?) is a little distracting to the view outside, though.

uh oh - this one will likely suffer from "poor callibration of voter monitor syndrome". I'm looking at it on a poorly calibrated monitor where it is really dark - will reserve my vote till I get home and can see it better.

I can feel the quiet in this photo, so peaceful. The title "quiet" or "peace" may be better than "Golden" in my opinnion.
