One of my higher rated images. Kind of made me think of the old Memorex commercials with the guy's hair blowing from the sound coming out of the speaker. |

My goodness, you have a VERY good looking neighbour ;-) I like the outtake maybe just a tiny touch more but love the way you are looking into the lamp... both great shots.
As eyewave, I also thought this would finish higher. Congrats on top 20. |

I thought this would finish way higher, in fact, the Pixar lamp came to mind immediately, so you reached your goal in another way. Not sure whether I like the outtake better, it has quite a different mood, very much reminds of a 60s crime movie. Anyway, both are very well done. |

I like this photo a lot! Great exposure.
I do think you need either a little more lamp or little more human. Right now you are not quite equal, with a bit more lamp offsetting the photo.
I think it would be best to bring the lamp back a few inches, and include just a lil' more human so that the space between them is in the center of the photo.
I do think it would also work to have unequal amounts of one subject or the other. It would just need to be 2/3 of one and 1/3 of the other. |
