That is exactly the same set up I use for that type of shot, apart from a different camera body, The lens and tripod are identical. That and I put the seatbelt around my tripod. But it is ok because I am usually the driver and driving from the backseat would be even more dangerous then not wearing the belt.

LOL glad to see you have your seatbelt on like a good boy! :-) Great shot! Mind, I see that view too pretty much each time my bf drives...;-)
