I was going for humor with this shot. That is one of our Delaware chickens, and they are very friendly.

Thanks for all the comments, always appreciated!

I elected to use a rating table to decide on what value to assign during voting.
Here̢۪s the table:
1 No Animal/People Interaction
2 Slightly Appealing, but no Animal/People Interaction
3 Moderately Appealing, but on Animal/People Interaction
4 Greatly Appealing, but no Animal/People interaction
5 Not Appealing, but possessing Animal/People Interaction
6 Slightly Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
7 Moderately Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
8 Greatly Appealing and possessing Animal People Interaction
9 Better than #8, and caused an audible sigh
10 Better than #9, and would likely declare it a favorite

No ... no, I haven't. There was a pretty friendly rooster at the shelter but I don't know how he feels about being hugged so I haven't tried it ;-) Unique shot; the chicken doesn't look ecstatic but she's not objecting too strenuously, and the human looks ... confident in her chicken-handling skills. Not necessarily seeing affection here, but there's definitely trust.

I really like the composition and subject choice. The tones I don't feel help this photo. I think more of a B/W tones or a sepia tone would really help in photo. Wish all the best because I think this is a nice photo. 7

Love the toning, and your stop-motion chicken.
