I am very surprised that this did this well. It really was an off the cuff shot with table legs in the background.

I elected to use a rating table to decide on what value to assign during voting.
Here̢۪s the table:
1 No Animal/People Interaction
2 Slightly Appealing, but no Animal/People Interaction
3 Moderately Appealing, but on Animal/People Interaction
4 Greatly Appealing, but no Animal/People interaction
5 Not Appealing, but possessing Animal/People Interaction
6 Slightly Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
7 Moderately Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
8 Greatly Appealing and possessing Animal People Interaction
9 Better than #8, and caused an audible sigh
10 Better than #9, and would likely declare it a favorite

I love this so much. The rich contrasts and tones, the black and white... delightful. And the interaction you've captured between person and dog is unique and intricate. 9 :)

too dark, poor framing. There is too much separation between the photographer and the dog -- I'm staring at the floor half the time -- not a good thing!

Like the low key look. Just enough detail to tell the story.

A fun picture, wish that there were more detail on the dog though almost looks like a shadow. The processing is a little too much for me on this.

Great take on the interaction theme. Table or chair legs top right detract.
