This was one of my top two picks, love the expressions, simplicity, and tiny amount of detail. |

This is probably scoring well, but I can't stop myself from heaping on yet more accolades: a Posthumous Red Ribbon for you.

I elected to use a rating table to decide on what value to assign during voting.
Here̢۪s the table:
1 No Animal/People Interaction
2 Slightly Appealing, but no Animal/People Interaction
3 Moderately Appealing, but on Animal/People Interaction
4 Greatly Appealing, but no Animal/People interaction
5 Not Appealing, but possessing Animal/People Interaction
6 Slightly Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
7 Moderately Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
8 Greatly Appealing and possessing Animal People Interaction
9 Better than #8, and caused an audible sigh
10 Better than #9, and would likely declare it a favorite |

This is so beautiful. The clean, simple lines, the arrogant tilt of the cat's head, the extended neck of the person, all speak of incredible elegance. That delicate lighting is wonderful too. Simply marvelous! |

I'm not a cat fan, but this shot is so well done. Great lines of composition and use of shadow/light. Great job. |

Nette Katze. Just enough lighting on the cat's eye and whiskers, great Abysinnian(?) sphinx-like profile. But just what is the cat looking at on top of your head? |

Really intriguing juxtaposition of profiles. Like the lighting, too. Only thing I'd change is to crop or tilt to eliminate the human shoulder from the image so my attention stayed on the faces. |

Works very very well in profile with just enough light to give depth. |

Well done image, I like the exposure, the blown out background and the interaction, wish the cat was looking directly into the eyes but they don't normally do what you want. |
