I guess to me, human - animal interaction is mostly constituted from the above basis.

Why are people so shallow when voting? I say this is a great interaction, it makes you think. At least it influences me that way.

This did fine - it got a Posthumous Yellow! :-)

This shot needs me.

There are two outstanding things about this shot. The first is the title. The second is that the hand looks like yet another cloven hoof.

I give you my Posthumous Yellow Ribbon.

I elected to use a rating table to decide on what value to assign during voting.
Here̢۪s the table:
1 No Animal/People Interaction
2 Slightly Appealing, but no Animal/People Interaction
3 Moderately Appealing, but on Animal/People Interaction
4 Greatly Appealing, but no Animal/People interaction
5 Not Appealing, but possessing Animal/People Interaction
6 Slightly Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
7 Moderately Appealing and possessing Animal/People Interaction
8 Greatly Appealing and possessing Animal People Interaction
9 Better than #8, and caused an audible sigh
10 Better than #9, and would likely declare it a favorite

I'm not sure I care for the lighting and the focus seems a bit off, but the whole concept seems delightfully absurd - what a clever twist on the challenge theme. Something about the way the gentleman appears to be elegantly dressed in a suit, contrasted with the utterly gruesome pig's feet or whatever they are, is bitingly ironic. Add the pricetag, and you have a most curious photo.

A much closer view than I usually get of the butchered remains of an animal in a very raw state. Harsh, but thought-provoking.

Great OOB idea re gruesome side of our interaction with animals. Falls a bit short however on SAT and DOF.

A different and somewhat macabre take on the challenge in my opinion. Nothing really appears sharp here.
