'Yeah!' seems to be Daisy's reply! Slow Dazzle, an 11-yr-old Thoroughbred racemare, is the daughter of Cornish Kiss, my Drama entry from earlier this year. I had this in mind as a possible entry for Animal/People Interaction, but ended up with a far less confrontational shot!
This is actually a very flattering pic of Daisy, who does in deed possess a bit of a prima donna attitude; she looks like her mane is pulled all to one fairly short length, when in fact it's a good 6-8 inches long. However, that nice sculptured look to her head is all hers; she definitely has the typiest head in the barn.
Camera was triggered by a remote shutter release, and is mounted on a gorillapod. Kept my fingers crossed each time I walked a horse up towards and past it, afraid someone might casually sling out a hind hoof and kick at it. Thankfully they all behaved!

Surprised this didn't do better. I think people don't like white backgrounds. I happen to like them a lot! What a fun photo! |

There really seems to be a connection here and you've captured it nicely. |

Looks like the horse is about to lick her face. I can handle dog kisses and cat kisses, but equine kisses? Blech. |

pretty horse....I think (not sure) but if you had pushed your hue and saturation before you converted to the B&W your tones would have been richer. This is something that I recently discovered when I am converting a picture to B&W |
