Wd on a pleasing photo Scott! Yes my 180mm Sigma peaks at between F/8 and f/11. More than that and I get defraction and softness in DOF. Roz is using that Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro and getting great results with it too. |

Wow ... love the detail in the eye the shallow DOF works well here |

Lovely shot, great title too. Could do with a tad more DOF to rear of eye, as difficult as it is to do, I understand that. Colours great, perhaps a bit too much dead space, again understand that most voters will think the gecko must be in the middle for this challenge. Wierd black spots and grey/shadow blotch below the Gecko's right leg/foot detracts a bit. Still a high mark from me. |

Centered composition - yes. Subject interest - The shallow DOF hasn't work well on this subject for me. |

Nice job. I like it.
I think the depth of field is a bit too shallow. I see that you're probably going for that effect, but I would have preferred just a little more. |

Sorry, I just spent all my money on the beer that the frogs were selling. Come around again after payday, but drop the overdone accent. |

I imagine you've meant to do this, but the focus is a bit too shallow to me.
Nevertheless nice picture |
