I absolutely love this image as it really does capture the native spirit. I must commend you on having the ability to take this image without having the usual clutter in the background. Very nicely done. I doubt many will understand the significance of the "Longest Walk" badge.
I do hope you will post the particulars for this shot.

| Almost perfect. Composition is slightly off what I'd prefer but I suspect that if he was left more I'd complain about the negative space. Captures the spirit of the USA in a great way - reminding us of the pre-European roots and the spirit that has all but been destroyed, not only in the USA but in many other countries around the world. His expression seems to show that burden and you can almost hear him thinking of how his ancestors would feel if they could see what has become of their treasured lands. |
