That's a big border and I'm not sure if it works for me although I can see what you're trying to achieve.

Great nature shot, fits challenge perfectly. Good tones, comp, DOF, action, a little hot in areas but understandable for Basic Editing.
More please, I'm tiring of man made structures!

good shot, but the huge borders cannot divert from the fact the composition is rather left-weighted; maybe you should have cropped 1/4 off from the right
