| I am guessing that this is topaz? As an HDR would be illegal and you have been validated...I am trying to learn what the difference is between the two so I can tell when I see a picture...this is well done |

This is a strong image ... I am a fan of the lone tree. I love that you have back lit the subject.
There are a number of really good things going on in this shot. It is a simple image but the eye is treated to a lovely sky as well as some really cool textures in the foreground. The shadow works well as a lead line

| Cool composition with the sun behind the tree. I like the textures and mound patterns of the grass in the foreground and the dramatic clouds. It has nice overall warms tones. I can't articulate it, but this image grabs me. Hope it does well for you. |

| it's hard to pull off a great photo with the horizon dead center but you did it. I think the complex foreground is the key. it draws much attention. love the subtle colors. sharp...8 |

| The ground is almost like an angry sky or stormy sea (yeah, for some reason I want the ground to be anything but). At the same time it's quite relaxing too. Many to things to love about this photograph. |

I like this shot a lot. It's one of my fav's for the challenge.
I think you should crop a bit off the bottom, and put the horizon on the lower "thirds" line. |
