St. Patrick's Cathedral. I love St. Patrick's. It is one of the most awe inspiring places I've ever been. I think the most beautiful part of it though is the little chapel, behind the main alter. Unfortunately, there is no photography allowed back there, and it is really well lit. (well lit beauty, of course you aren't allowed to photograph it!) The main church is not so well lit. I didn't want to use flash, so the ISO got cranked up to 1600 and the lens opened up almost all the way.

This was shot .jpg and opened from Adobe Bridge into Adobe RAW. I made a few adjustments there, then opened it in to Photoshop CS3, where I cropped, adjusted levels, shadow/highlight, brightness/contrast, a double dose of Noise Ninja, canvas size and resized it.

I know, it's a little tilted, but I couldn't seem get both top and bottom centered.

magnificent... just a little more focus at the front of the church would have been icing on cake

to effectively capture an image like this I think it needs to be centered.. the top is but the bottom is off.

Looks a little crooked. Nice colors, though.

Cropping this to straighten it would have helped your score. 10

Magnificent image . My only complaint it could be a wee bit straighter , but if you intended it to be that way , then it's still wonderful .

a centered composition like this does not look good when it is not exactly symetrical

when I am looking at the top of this picture I am wondering if your ran a noise reducing program on it...you seem to have lost alot of detail that should be there...IMO this should be super sharp in focus showing all the beautiful detail of the ceiling

Wow the inside looks so much brighter in your photograph then when I'm actually in there! I wish it was a bit sharper closer to the alter but overall nice job.

I think this photo wouldve been on the front page if you couldve gotten it centered. Either way, well done.
