 Photo from the old cemetry in Reykjavík, statue of a bird looking over a grave of a beloved person. The cross is the central point of the image, the symbol of Christianity.

Cropped and made minimal tone adjustments in Lightroom, exported to PS for levels, curves, resized, sharpened, framed and saved for the web.

A poignant reminder of Loss and Love never forgotten. The feather patterns and the cock of the head of the quietly waiting Dove are excellent and emotive. The tones of this simple photograph capture the dichotomy of dark and light which Religion encapsulates in query. Answers which bring more questions into play. I love this.

Looks like a German gravestone not that that has anything to do with the price of eggs! I like the composition and the B and W adds mood to the take, but the focus imho should be on the pidgeon's head not his arse tail feathers :)
