 I went to New York's upper East Side to see the blowing up of the balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on Thanksgiving Eve. With a press pass, I had the opportunity to observe the inflation team of the Spongebob Squarepants Balloon which was flown in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the Big Apple. Without the press pass, there would have been no way I could have gotten this close!

This closeup shot is Spongebob's Nose! Here are a couple of guys from the inflation team filling Spongebob's nose with helium. Camera was tripod mounted, shutter triggered with hand held remote control.

This doesn't look like a macro to me. Also, you're not allowed to add text to your photo.

You sure it's his nose? hehe. I get your drift here. He's dwarfing the humans so it may be deemed a macro. DNMC crowd might not be so forgiving! Extra marks for OOB.

LOL. That's an utterly-out-of-the-box take on the concept "macro"... I guess you're doomed... It would be fun to see this finish anywhere in the vicinity of 6, so I'll get you started with a 7 :-)
