I promised to take my daughter fishing, and on the way back we drove past a reservoir just to see if my favorite pair of wild swans were around. Bingo!
I filled all my CF cards in about 20 minutes as the sun was setting. Not too many keepers given the handheld slow shutter speed and moving swans, but the sky faded to a beautiful pink and purple sunset. I shifted the white balance here because (ironically) orange looked more natural than the pink tones. Now let's see if I can succeed on two consecutive landscape entries! ;-)
Processing: Convert fram RAW with a shifted WB and boosted vibrance/saturation, Levels, Curves, USM, Noise Ninja, shortened some of the foreground twigs in front of the swans and touched up the right bird's bill, cloned out a few stray specks in the trees and water, Dodge & Burn, Resize, another round of Noise Ninja and USM, and added frame. |

| Excellent composition. Red is little too much saturated for my taste. Particularly red colors on the tree silhoutte takes point away. |

| Pretty scene. Birds breaking the reflections are very good. Colors really sell the sunset. Border is effective. Nice work. |

| Colour seems a bit oversaturated. Also see some noise in the sky and the trees don't seem quite sharp enough. But a very pretty scene. |
