Doubt this will do well. I found handling the lens flare very difficult but I liked the appeal of the backlight coming from multiple sources as it bounced of the tall buildings at the south end of Times Square, especially as it created multiple shadows on the ground. It seemed more fitting to have the image in black & white but I think that unless viewers have good monitors, this image may be criticised for being too dark.

The main reason I am hoping it will do well is that as I was packing up, I thought my 5D MKII was securely on the tripod, but it wasn't and it fell 4ft to the ground cracking the back badly but it still works. Luckily the lens seems undamaged apart from being a little stiff to zoom. So, as I am submitting this image, I'm still feeling physically sick at what just happened, but it would be nice to think it wasn't for nothing.

| Wow, you have a good eye for a composition. Especially the sun and it's 2 reflections casting those multiple shadows. Nice work. |

| Looks like you borrowed a lot of contrast from the middle tones and gave them to the lights and darks. I like the effect. 5 |
