 I was bit far from the fireworks that was happening in Vivocity in Singapore on 2nd Dec 2009. There was no way that I could shoot that effectively from such a distance. So I thought of experimenting by moving my camera in circular motion so that it will fill the frame with some textures. The result was this.
After bit of "clarity" "vibrance" adjustment in LR,
added a duplicate layer with "soft light" blending mode in PS..Cropped and added the boarder to get that wide-screen look. Hope you like it.

Pleasing abstract, almost meets challenge in an odd way but technically there should be something between camera and subject in a backlit challenge, imo.
