The harsh background lighting detracts from the otherwise very well captured and interesting subject. A well framed shot. (Not voting)

i love this .. that cute as little red bug in the greenery . he really is an amzazing little bug .. such a rich red and the black legs .. he has no camouflage at all .. hope he lives a long and happy life .. its such a great photograph .. its like a look into a secret world ..
anyway .. i'm not voting just having a look thru the challenge .. :)

I am not sure if it is a problem of cropping or exposure, or what else, but the picture lacks details on the bug and this is too bad for a picture of a bug!

Wierd bug find. Nice and close. Unusual colour. Front bottom leaf and twig behind bug's head detracts from the composition.

Super colorful bug and with the green the red just pops! Your focus is a little soft. Maybe if taken from a different pov?
