| You didn't greyscale the background like the challenge asked for - why not? I would have given this a 9 or 10 easy if you had finished the last step. |

| Very nice. Love the clarity and color of the butterfly, but, I don't really like the purple-ish color of the rest. You should have made it a light grey (lighten the rest using Levels, etc) which would give a great contrast with the dark butterfly. |

| Love the dark tones of this shot. Bug pictures are often too brightly lit for my taste. I also love how you shot shows depth and how the butterfly is clearly focussed. Good work. Among my favourites for this challenge. |

| Great detail and focus. The intricate color patterns on the butterfly contrast nicely against the desaturated background. |

| WOW. this is amazing. i love the dreamy fantasy feel with the sepia. I wonder if you're getting dinged for using sepia and not pure b&w? |

| Very strong image. The only thing I don't like too much is the rather purple duotone background, the color takes away some of the contrast/impact of the butterfly. 8 |
