Not only a clever idea, but an excellent photograph. 7 JEM

Clever. Good exposure and lighting. Book leads the eye out of the picture a bit, but the shot would have been so much less without it. Not sure what could have been done different. Overall 8

A superb photo. I loved how you made a "hybrid technology" by combining the new and the old. The camera angle and book really add to the overall composition as well.

very interesting combination of three technologies: printing, candle, and chip

Very cute and good capture. Need to speed up the shutter speed to see the full color of the candle flame.

Is this a paradigm shift I've heard so much about? If that's all the candel that melted it didn't take you long to get the great shot. I love the subject, how well you met the challenge, the focus, the lighting, the color, the humor. Most of all the humor. Thanks so much for a job well done. PTL

CLEVER IDEA AND NICELY DONE !!

Nice composition, lighting and concept.
To me it is a winner.

that would be a pretty cool candle.

NICE, very creative! My high goes to you so far - 8

nice concept and presentation

Creative and nice idea ;-) But IMHO the shot doesn't look very interesting. I don't like the background (parquet) and the lighting. Maybe the other voters think completely different... 5 (for creativity) - nds

Nice idea. Too bad someone else came up with the same concept. I'm not sure how well this speaks to the topic, though.

Another nicely done switchable candle shot. :) (7)

Nice composition, but I think the switch could have been positioned better on the candle. It looks a bit 'false' and detracts from the picture.

i give this an 8 for concept and composition. lighting is uninteresting, tho. otherwise could have been a 10. looks like u used on-camera flash? mag99

Hmm... think this is the better of the two "candle's with switches embedded" image.

Haha! Way cool. Nice use of humor, while still taking an outstanding shot. well done.
