 Leaf on patio table. I adjusted contrast, color, and sharpness in Photoshop Elements. The colors are actually close to natural. I didn't have to desaturate much.

I'm not sure what's so appealing about this shot, but it's one of my favorites in thiis challenge. Great clarity and simplicity - nice job!

So simple, yet elegantly beautiful.

Awesome focus, and great use of the desaturation. I originally gave this a 7, but I'm bumping it up to a 9.

Crisp and clean. The leaf just looks so alive in contrast to the deadness of the background. I'd probably prefer a slightly different framing, but who cares. One of my top picks.

I think this would have looked a little better with more depth of field, it's pretty soft at top and bottom edges, other than that a very good effort that fits the challenge well

one of my favorites in this challenge, if not on this entire site. very well done. i can't think of anything wrong with it, except maybe very slight oversharpening which appears in some areas but not in most of the image. great job! my only 10 so far

That leaf is perfect! Really beautiful!

A nice photo, however it has not been improved at all by the desaturation imo. The background probably wasn't too different in the original than it is here. If this leaf was resting among a bunch of other leaves, hightlighting it would make it stand out from a crowd.

This picture is not a good choice to start with. Looks like a leaf on a water greyed deck - can't tell if it's a desat pic or not.
