It appears I missed this one. That deep blue sky and brightly lit church is screaming for a BW conversion! Enjoyable everyday scene. |

Hi Terry.......Trying to remember which church this is, cause it looks familiar but I can't remember where it was. I am missing the fine weather so not having clouds I think is good because the deep blue sky means all the emphasis is on the Church and trees. A great image to start PAW2010 with |

Nice HDR - I really like the effect and contrast it gives. |

Beautifully crisp and the colours are great. I think that the all blue sky actually works better than clouds might have because it gives such prominence to the church. The golden hue of the spire looks brilliant against it. |

Great shot, I love the contrast between the red bricks and blue sky...so dramatic. |

I tend to like HDR that looks more natural, and you've achieved that here. Good shadow detail without the noise and I like the tone, it seems natural as opposed to an artificial hue you can get from HDR. |

I couldn't tell this was HDR - so you must have done a really good job :D Love the blue sky and the capture of light is gorgeous. |

I like the HDR processing ...It feels to be that horizon is slightly off? |

If I wanted to be critical (for the sake of it) I could say this comes out a wee bit flat and just a little over-compensated for shadow in the HDR. Thing is, though, it gets away with it and hovers neatly on the edge between the real and the unreal.
OK, so I'm an HDR cynic, but this is good and I'll be fascinated to see more... |

I don't know anything about HDR so I probably can't apreciate all the work you did to create this. But this photo is crisp and clear. I love the golden hour sunlight hitting the church which makes the building very warm. |

Nice exposure and detail, as you say clouds would have added interest to the sky. Nice start to paw 2010. |
