Today we have electronic levels, which easily fail when there is rain, low battery level or other radiating equipment in the surrounding.
This always worked and will work as long as you are trusting on the gravity to exist.

So why is it we do not use this anymore?

It's an oldfashioned level. It doesn't really work when your builder brings it along for making sure you house is build level, but thanks to gravity it still works.

if it can be used again it does not meet the challenge the challenge 3
