Nice shot!

Stopped subject blends in with the parts that don't seem to have stopped. Leaves me confused, and wondering if there is any reason to go back and look at it again.

Too bright and not clear enough for what I thought the challenge asked for.

The water thing is overdone. In my vote I'm looking for more originality.

Blur in the back detracts from the clarity in the front.

too much water to really pick out what's happening. The whole shot is somewhat similar. I'd prefer to see a concentration on a small number of jets, which would (hopefully) show individual droplets

i like the way the water trails are not all of even height. good sharp focus as well.
04/18/2002 06:03:00 PM
Simple and unique way to capture an object that is obviously so popular in this challenge.
04/18/2002 01:02:00 PM
Very crisp stop-motion. Technically a very fine shot.

I really like the lighting and color of this shot. It's tight enough to start looking abstract, even if it is still recognizable. What it loses for being water it makes up for in quantity! :)

This is a cool looking photo. Good job.
04/18/2002 07:50:00 AM
how pretty. good composition.

A faster shutter would help to sharpen this image.
04/17/2002 11:33:00 PM
interesting effect

Nice lighting, and a good feeling of depth. Was this done with a zoom, or did the camera get wet? :o)

Good, close photo. Only thing I might change is to find something that doesn't put out as many streams of water--so you can see each one better. You did a good job of freezing the water drops.

hope you kept your equipment dry!! nice shot well captured and well stopped.
04/16/2002 06:01:00 PM
Something tells me a faster a shutter speed could have helped here.
04/16/2002 12:25:00 PM
cool, looks like a fountain

Nice shot! The source of the spray on the bottom is the perfect addition. Well done.

I like this spray as well. A little greater depth of field and making the subject level in this shot would be an improvement opportunity. it appears that everything behind the first row of water drops is out of focus. This makes it difficult to see that the water drops in front are actually in focus.

water.. go figure
04/15/2002 11:38:00 AM
Great shot. There is perhaps more action here than in any other photo in the challenge.
04/15/2002 10:42:00 AM
Nice effect. Could do with some sharpening to make it really 'pop'
04/15/2002 10:06:00 AM
Nice, get's the texture of nearly every drop...
04/15/2002 08:44:00 AM
a nice take on the same, cliche water droplet
04/15/2002 07:29:00 AM
Oh my ! What a great capture ! There are a lot of water pics this time but this is VERY well done ! The framing is great as well as the choice of subject. Great job.
04/15/2002 07:10:00 AM
too busy, simplify

loads of good texture in this picture. I like it.
