GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
I see you are a fairly new member of DPC, so I will add my welcome to the others who wish you well on the site.
As others have mentioned, this image is a little soft. If you have a tripod, it can be very helpful, especially with a dark background as you have here. Then you can experiment with your settings to see what is best for the image you want. However, because you didn't fill in the section describing what you wanted from your shot, it is difficult to comment on it any further.
You are getting some good comments on your photography and with practice you will be making great images in no time. If you find those comments helpful, perhaps you may want to mark them as such.
Good luck in future Challenges. |

There is a lack of sharpness and detail to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 10k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a most of the clarity from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. |
