Critique Club:

Strange looking photo, I'm presuming this is a model, although you haven't left any comments for me to go by.
As a photo in it's own right, I'm not really sure what you wanted to achieve with this shot... the use of light doesn't really inspire me here, and there is no clear point of focus. The composition seems a little haphazard. Without a photographer's comment, I'm not sure I can say a lot more about this photo!

Decent job of maiking a model appear life-sized. I think the contrast might be heightened in this a bit and some of the heavy shadows give the illusion away.

A note of humor, the "Lassie" photo appeared directly after yours in my line-up! Together the two are just hilarious.

I don't see the mine shaft in the model train set.

Is this a model?

A model I assume, but very wekk done. Can see this as a newspaper shot.

pretty realistic looking model :-) Good job

I love the birds eye view of the buildings. Cool shot.

Interesting idea, working with miniatures. I might have tried something more dramatic, like a train wreck.

nice model

This looks fake. Something doesn't look right about it, like it's a model train set. It doesn't take away from the score I gave it. Is this real?
06/24/2004 10:45:17 AM
Doesn't look real enough to believe the title, sorry.

He must be a teensy weensy boy. The flash lighting spoils the effect, and gives it away as a model. Darn fine model, though! 5

Hmm, it looks like a model.
06/23/2004 12:57:45 PM
Looks like a mode train set, is it?
06/23/2004 11:34:44 AM
Is this a model? It certainly doesn't look real, and the headline seems very contrived.
06/23/2004 10:55:11 AM
Cool model train set, perhaps if you'd taken it outside in natural sunlight and played with the ISO setting to get something grainier, it might have looked more realistic
06/23/2004 10:06:41 AM
Very detailed scale model train set? The shot does not really seem to go with the headline that well. May just be that I am too ignorant to see the mineshaft in all the clutter.
06/23/2004 05:33:21 AM
lol, nice thinking. But it doesn't look believable enough. Still points for creativity.

And where is the boy :)
06/23/2004 03:40:58 AM
Cool photo. Very nice headline. This looks like a model train set. Am I right? :) If so very creative use for this challenge.

Gat a plane ?

I can't see the boy. :(
