Well...first off, kudos on getting a rebel into a concert (I have never been able to pull it off, always stopped by security).
The only thing that̢۪s bothersome about this shot is how overblown the screens are, maybe adjusting the levels a bit to make them less prevalent?
The silhouettes of the people in crowds are great.

I saw them in Calgary, Alberta a few months back and was right on the first balcony directly by the stage; could smell the sweat and read their tattoos :-) It was awesome! |

I know how difficult it is to take these kinds of shots, so these are "wishes" to make this better. I think, especially for a journalistic shot, that I would like to be seeing either my audience's faces or a shot of the performer. It appears very dark with only a few overly bright areas. I wish I could see something clearly on the bright background we're seeing through the fans. |

The subject is certainly appropriate, but the quality of the photo is not. There's too little information in the upper portion of the shot and the images on the screens are blown out. Focus and contrast would need to be greatly improved to make it into print. |

Except press photographer's usually have special passes that get them in front of the front row or even on stage so they can get pictures of the band instead of the crowd... |

Not the best photo. You can't see who is playing or anyone in the audience besides there silohetes. Don't think it'd get published as is. Good headline regardless. Nice attempt. |

I think this is a good choice for the challenge. The shot seems awful dark, although I understand it was dark there. A couple ideas that might improve this: pull back and include more of the crowd, different cropping, try to catch more people silhouetted in the screens, try to get an angle that shows the band on stage. |
