| Desaturating a white bird against a white brackground gives you a ......... white bird on a white background. That little dab of faded yellow around the eyes isn't 'standing out'. |

| Lovely image of this wonderful bird. Unfortunately there is little colour showing to get the desaturation theme across. All I see is a wee bit of yellow around the eye, I would hope for a stronger colour element. This would be a stunning completely black and white shot. |

| Just a hint of color works very well. May be a buit stronger if there was more spavce in front of the egret. |

| Probably not the best choice for this challenge. A white bird on a bright background kinda disappears, losing impact. |

| I gave higher scores for photos that had just a bit more "flash" of color. I had to go "looking" for the color in this photo... but maybe my computer screen isn't that great. |

| i am giving this an only average score, because altho it is a very nice shot of this bird, the selective desat element is really minimal and isnt playing much of a role in the image impact. |
