| The more I come back to this picture - the sharp focus, great dof, and stark reality - it really is a great picture. But it totally missed the boat for a desaturated picture. You needed to set it up so what got desaturate was obvious to the viewer. Had you done this on a mirror - with either the pepper or it's reflection desaturated it would have been an awesome picture. You have tallent - you just need to think a little more like a viewer - or have someone else give them a peek. |

| Nice and sharp, no pun intended! Crisp, vibrant colors but the bell pepper almost seems cut/paste onto a white background. Looks too good to be real. ;) |

| I'm hesitating between "Great!" and "Yuck!" Since it's so good technically I'll settle for "Great!" Would have liked to see a little bit more space at the bottom. 8 |

| Is that blueberry jam or pie filling? This is a well-executed shot; focus and details are excellent. I find that it really isn't selectively desaturated in the technical sense (through editing) and I think that will be what voters are looking for most. Regardless, I won't detract from my score for that. |

| excellent "10" I was going to give it a nine b/c the part you desaturated was not very colorful anyway, but the pepper is so good- it really does make it seem brighter. |
