Looks like glass eyes - so clear and sharp. Like the turned head. Feather a bit hot at top right of eye |

Killed so many wild lives and still pretending you are innocent? I will vote a 10 for you to be the best actor of the 2009. |

Great animal portrait. Nice and sharp... colours are perfect. Great job.
Now... please bear with me... I'm revisiting a little comment experiment I conducted in the 2009-03 Free Study... something like K10DGuy's comments, but with a twist... the twist being, the story will move from one photo to another within the challenge... also, I don't select just a few photos I start at the first and end on the last as determined by DPC random order assigned to me, with a single sentence for each photo... should be interesting... and you're photo is 4th in the series

Magnificent owl shot .. I love how his/her head is tilted in that, 'looking at you, questioning' way. Great detail, colour and light. In my top picks for a ribbon. |

The little owl tilted his head to the side and said innocently, "Who, me?"
Heh, great capture and look at all the nice detail! The details are so nice and sharp I can see the individual filiaments on the feathers. |
