Another lovely shot Alex, I like to watch a photographer working the same subject matter from different perspectives, and this is a great addition to your impressive Richmond Park series. Congratulations on your impressive placement in this competition, but even more so on the series. |

Alex, congrats on a great finish with a stunning picture. I would have been tempted to go with a tighter crop but the wide perspective conveys the "togetherness in isolation" beautifully. Great job!! |

I can't start to explain how this photo appeals to me...the fact that it's not white, but "dirty" white is so much more effective, in my opinion.
The usage of negative space is great, and the scene itself is very well captured.
One of my highest votes, good luck! |

How fun!! I assume that you're getting hit for the white background and all the negative space, but that's why I love it! I would have liked it with a tad less negative space, however, because they look so interesting, and I wish I could see them better. (here's for 1600 pixel challenges!!) |

Together against the elements - what a stunningly minimal nature shot. Great capture of this family of deer huddled together for warmth against the chill of the blanket of snow. I don't know if others are judging it harshly because of the amount of negative/white space but I think it works beautifully to capture the mood and feel of the moment. As I mentioned, the eye immediately drawn to the deer family in their struggle to keep warm in the great white wilderness. Love this - 9 |
